Below is a list of items that are common to bring on an outfitted hunt.

Camp Mandatory
  • Hunting Licenses
  • Conservation Stamp (must purchase before start of hunt)

  • Bear Spray *>MANDATORY* Due to liability issues, we do not provide bear spray. However, we encourage everyone to carry a can.)
  • Waterproof Cold-Weather Gear
  • "Hunter Orange Hat or Vest
  • Small Flashlight
  • Gloves
  • Warm Hat
  • Binoculars
  • 2 Jackets (both light and heavy weight)t
  • Hunting Boots
  • Range Finder
  • Socks
  • Wool or Gore Tex Pants
  • Personal Medications
  • Toiletries
  • Water Bottls/Water Bladders


Optional
  • Camera (with batteries and charger)
  • Spotting Scope
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow


Archery Hunters will need in addition:
  • Soft case for your bows
  • Camo
  • Tools for Bow
  • Extra String
  • Sight
  • Scents: Pine, Dirt, or Urine
  • Broadheads and Field Tips


After your hunt is booked, S & J Outfitters will send you a detailed list of where to go, and what to bring.

(* Just a reminder: Weather in the mountains can change fast and be higly unpredictable. Temperatues can range from 10 °F at night to 50 °F during the day, so park accordingly)
